What Sydney suburbs and areas do you cover?
Silver Cloud Cars do complete weddings just about everywhere in Sydney. Our showrooms and vehicles as displayed in our warehouse at Rydalmere in Sydney.
The majority of our brides and Grooms that use our luxury cars are in the Sydney metropolitan area. However we often travel to Wollongong, Newcastle, Dubbo and a number of other country towns throughout NSW.
How far ahead of my wedding day should I book the my wedding cars?
Many serious decisions are to be made regarding the weding ad that special day. So it is important to prioritise those decisions. Choosing and booking wedding cars is a decision that should be high on the list, especially if you want to hire something different and special. Silver Cloud Cars often hold bookings up to 18 months in advance. So it is, if possible to book up to 9 and 12 months in advance.
Do you own all the cars on offer on your website or do you use contractors?
Yes! Silver Cloud Weddings Cars are the proud owners of 37 luxury classic cars and all the vehicles are on display at our Rydalmere show rooms.
My sister booked cars for her wedding and different cars turned up. Can I be sure that the cars I book with your company are the ones I am going to get on the wedding day.
When booking wedding cars it is a very important for you to visit the show rooms of the supplier and NOT only inspect the vehicles but touch and sit in the cars. Being shown pretty photos or being sent out to see the cars working on another wedding is not a good way to book wedding cars for that very special day. Always ask the supplier if they do own the cars that are going to be used for your wedding, as many wedding car operators use contractors. In unforeseen circumstances should a problem arise our wedding car coordinator will call you to arrange alternative?
What happens if a wedding cars breaks down on the way to or from the wedding?
Golly! What a question? BUT! One that requires an answer.
Silver Cloud Wedding cars has over our 36 years in the industry has had a number of instances; However because of good management and planning every wedding has been brought to the right conclusion. It is unfortunately with any motor car, including modern cars the unexpected can happen, no one can ever grantee that a wedding car like any vehicle will run perfect every time. We do like to have our brides and grooms feel very comfortable and reassured that Silver Cloud Wedding Car are professionals and all our vehicles are maintained to the best and highest standards and we make every effort to ensure your wedding day will go as planned.
How long would I need to hire the cars for?
Our brides and grooms are not locked into the a time frame you are able to make use of the wedding cars for as long as you need, of course extra charges do apply after the normal hire time expires.
Normally the wedding cars arrive at the allocated collection point and take the Bride, Bridal party and sometime family to the place of ceremony then they wait until the end of the service then move the bridal party onto the reception. Depending on distance this normally takes between two and three hours.
Many Brides and grooms after the ceremony do take up the option to visit to various photo locations first then finally on to the reception. Sometimes using the wedding cars for up to five even six hours. Of course this is entirely up to you.
How many people can I fit into each wedding car?
This depends on the style of wedding vehicle selected, each one of our early model classic sedans, like the Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley and our convertibles will seat four adults plus the chauffeur.
Classic limousines like the Daimler will seat more. When you make the booking the wedding car or vehicle coordinator will assist you in you selection advising the capacity of each car and the best way to fit everyone in comfort. Keeping in mind the final choice is always totally yours.
My wedding will be held on a week day can I book cars for during the week?
"Yes" Silver cloud wedding cars are available seven days and nights a week excluding some major public holidays. Like, Christmas day.
Am I able to book a wedding car just for the boys?
We would like a car that can collect the groom and groomsman and take them to the church I want to be sure they arrive on time, do you do that?
Yes just about everyone these days is booking wedding cars for the groom and groomsmen. Most guys really enjoy being picked up, in fact some times if the distance is not too great we can have a car pick the boys take them to the place of the ceremony and return to meet other cars at the bride address. This will save money and ensure the boys arrive on time.
I have some older people including my parents that do not drive can I get a wedding car or normal car for them?
Absolutely, any number of our brides and grooms request vehicles to collect family and friends.
It's not unusual for Silver Cloud wedding car to organise vehicles to collect guests from Airports, railway, stations, bus depots all manor of places. We also have acess to disabled vehicles.
Can you help me work out how many wedding cars or other cars I will need for my wedding also how many cars in need on the wedding day?
The Silver Cloud our wedding vehicle coordinator is able to help you with all of that and you will have the opportunity to select from 37 great classic and modern cars all seating different numbers of people. Everyone has different requirements some couples hire just one vehicle others a number of cars. Please take a little time and phone our office the service is free and ask all the question you need.
Once I make a booking to you supply stuff like ribbons or shall supply them to you?
Most couple prefer the plain traditional white satin ribbons on the wedding cars and yes we do supply them. However should you prefer another colour we are very happy to accommodate. When suppling ribbons the ribbons need to be 40 -50 mm wide and 8 meters in length.
The vehicles will all arrive polished and shining with the white ribbons and or collect your ribbons a fit then on the day. You may have a special doll or dolls you would like placed onto the front of the wedding cars please advise the chauffeurs on the day and they will haply fit them on for you.
What do Silver Cloud Cars include with the vehicles?
Silver Cloud Wedding Cars are specialists we insure all your needs are cater for, white satin ribbons, Champagne for those whom partake, cold water and of course the red capers. Should you like to like to particular drink or snack food that can be arranged.
IMPORTANT; It should be noted that while we are happy to place particular items on our vehicles. We do reserve the right to refuse.
Do you need a licensed to operate wedding cars?
Silver Cloud Wedding Cars are accredited with the NSW department of transport.
Are Silver Cloud Cars vehicles available for inspection?
Yes, the showroom is open every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6.pm until 930 PM.
Wedding Car Inspections can be arranged for just about any week day. It is best to make an appointment so not to be disappointed.
If you are able it is always strongly recommended you inspect the vehicles before booking.

You do not display a price list on the website?
That is correct; the pricing policy is worked on the distance of the wedding location. The number of wedding cars required and the travel time involved. Every wedding is unique and we recognize that your vehicle requirements are individual and encourage you to contact our wedding coordinator us to discuss your needs. Do you offer discounts?
I would like to answer your question this way – Our fleet of classic cars are full serviced and maintained to the highest standards and we are covered for all insurance eventualities.
Our business has been operating in the same family for over 36 years and our service remains the very best available – We absolutely guarantee you that will be at your door at the required time on your wedding day. I strongly advise all of our brides and grooms NOT to be guided by price, you need the business you are dealing with to be around on your wedding day!
So what’s more important to you?
Once I make the booking with your company, will the prices change before my wedding day?
NO! The base rate always remains from the date booked. However should you make changes to the booking, this can alter the quoted prices, but that would be fully explained when and if changes were made. When a booking is made and the deposit is paid the price is set.
The weather is unpredictable and can change. I need to be assured that I will not get drenched or sun burn, what does your company do in these cases?
First let me say we have no control over the weather and it should also be said, we at Silver Cloud wedding cars has NEVER had a drenched or sun burnt bride, a drenched chauffeur YES! Every vehicle carries on board large umbrella's and a cool drink.
I have booked my cars for 3 hours but I am concerned that I might need to use them for longer – If I do go over the 3 hours do I need to pay more?
YES! The time frame you booked the car or cars for is always paid two weeks before the wedding day as per our terms and conditions. However you are able to increase the time frame and pay the extra rate applicable to the car or cars booked. IMPORTANT! In relation to the same question; Extra overtime or waiting time that has not been paid in advance will be due and payable in the wedding day on arrival at the final destination. The overtime rate is calculated by the quarter hour per vehicle hired. Your head chauffeur will advise you if and when you are heading toward running over and advise that you will be required to pay more.
Do you charge fees for the use of credit cards?
YES! All and any payments made by credit cards attract a free of 4%
Can we smoke?
YES! We have no objection to smoking as long as it not in the vehicles - All our wedding cars are non–smoking.
My brother booked cars with another company for his wedding and had a car come collect them after the wedding to take them home and the driver refused to take them because he said my brother was to drunk – We both want to have a drink on our wedding day what is your policy?
That is a very good question – Our rule of thumb is totally intoxicated passengers will not be permitted to enter our wedding cars at any time. The reason - Carrying passengers that have had far too much to drink can often not be in full control and cause damage to themselves and our vehicles, which can also affect our insurance. These people can also become abusive and sometimes unable to control body functions. The chauffeur has the authority to make the decision at the time and an extra fees may apply. For further information please ask the Silver Cloud Wedding Car Coordinator when booking.
Once I book wedding cars – Are the people in my wedding party covered by accident Insurance? Also if damage is caused to the cars do I need to pay?
YES! You and all the parties carried by Silver Cloud Wedding Cars are covered by law via third party registration motor vehicle insurance.
To the second part of your question – All and every client we carry will be liable for all damages caused by malicious damage to any part of the vehicle or vehicles.
Our vehicles leave our depot fully prepared for your wedding, they are in the very best polished, tidy condition and it is expected the cars to return in the same order. Therefore in the case where our vehicle or vehicles are placed into overly dirty condition by any party related to your wedding. The hiring parties will be held liable for the total cost of the extra cleaning or any repairs including loss of income or any re-sanitation caused by uncontrolled body functions.
Do you have cars available for any other occasions other than weddings, like first anniversaries?
Silver Cloud offer our vehicles for any number uses. Wedding getaway cars, Film work, School formals and Television work to mention a few. There are many uses for our vehicles and they have been and will continue to be made available to all those who wish to use them.
